What’s In Your Box? Sept. 7th

Good Morning!

Hope you all had a blessed holiday weekend:) We couldn’t have asked for better weather.

To those of you sending your kiddos back to school today…and those of you who started last week….I am thinking of you all! I pray that it’s a smooth transition into the school routine and that your kids have great experiences this year.

Welp….after doing some digging and planning ahead…..as much as we wanted to make it through September…I believe our final pick up will be in 2 weeks, September 21. The heat of this summer has really progressed things quickly and hasn’t really allowed the cooler weather crops to thrive as I had hoped. We are starting to feel the sting of the flooding earlier in the season as a lot of our second crop was lost, but all in all…we have been blessed with a pretty decent summer.

What can you plan on in your FALL box this week? ?

tomatoes

peppers

eggplant

zucchini

summer squash (for sure this week)

acorn squash

leeks

potatoes

onions

butternut squash
