What’s In Your Box? Our Final Week

Oh , friends! I can hardly believe I’m typing this right now….but it’s the final week of CSA share dispersal TOMORROW ! Feels like our first week was just a few weeks ago yet ages ago at the same time….am I right?

I cannot thank you all enough for your kind words and support this season…..seriously….you guys rock. I have loved getting to know you more and hearing the fun way you’ve used your produce or tried new things. It’s gone so fast.

This final week was all about gleaning and cleaning…and emptying out any of the produce we had been storing since harvest last month (potatoes, onions, winter squash….) I held back on hot peppers this week…but the offer still stands to anyone who wants more;)

Here’s what you can expect…..

Butternut squash

Zucchini

Onions

Red and white potatoes

Carrots (lots of carrots)

Beans

Chives

Basil (a floral variety, but a unique basil taste)

So what should you do with all of those tasty carrots that take oh so long to grow?
