Good Morning ! Hope you all have had a fabulous week:) Hard to believe June is already coming to a close. I had a member of the farm remind me of the Fourth of July yesterday and I was actually shocked to realize how close that is! With that being said….I was thinking that I would still harvest July 3 as usual, but realized many of you may be out of town enjoying the holiday, therefore, produce delivery for the week of July 2-8 will be on WEDNESDAY, JULY 5. If you will be out of town or need to make different arrangements to pick up your share…please let me know and we can figure it out accordingly. Thanks so much !
I hope you are all making use of your greens. I realize your boxes have been full of them, but I am so grateful for such great crops this time of year before the “regulars” start ripening. I encourage you to try something new this week or even freeze some of your extras and toss them into smoothies later!
Here’s a twist on the basic tuna wrap I shared the recipe for a few weeks back. Rachel DeYoung is a foodie friend of mine and fellow shareholder at the farm and literally makes you WANT to eat your healthy greens. She made a tuna bok choy wrap and topped it with chickpeas, roasted in olive oil, garlic, onion powder and sea salt, then topped it with hot sauce…YUM! Thanks for the awesome idea Rach!
Here’s what you can look forward to next week with your share!
